My Weekend In Paris
Hello Lovelies ! I hope you are well. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that I was in Paris this week. I was there from Saturday -Tuesday. I had the best time. I ate in some fabulous restaurants and walked some of the most beautiful streets . I also recorded all my outfits for a YouTube video of Paris that will be up next week.
I have only been to Paris one other time 6 years ago so this was almost like my first time again.
So without further delay here is where I ate and what I got up too.
Hotel Ekta // So I honestly think we nailed it when it came to the accommodation. Our hotel was small but decorated so cool, it was modern yet French. The location was on a small street just beside the arc de triumph, and a 15 minute was to the Eiffel Tower , andmetros all around . The staff couldn’t have been nicer and the breakfast was so great. Breakfast was everything from pancakes , fruit , egg and bacon , fresh pastry, tea, coffee and more. If I go back to Paris soon I will definitely stay here again.
before we had arrived we had not planned any restaurants, we decided to just go with the flow and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly .
Miss Ko // this was the first restaurant we ate in. I would advise book this one though (we just got lucky with someone not turning up) the food is Asian style, the decor is super chic and has a cool club vibes with a dj also. I would highly recommend .
Dulcinea // this was an Italian restaurant right across the street from the Moulan Rouge. It is not a fancy restaurant but the food was amazing. It was really classic Italian and reasonable on price. The Location great if you want to go check out the fashion Moulan Rouge sign like me.
The Arc De Truimph // Am I the only person who didn’t know you could go to the top of it? It was such an amazing view even on the cloudy day it was. I actually preferred this view to the Eiffel Tower because with this view I could actually look out at the Eiffel Tower , that was pretty cool. It was €12 to go up, and inside there is a small exhibition you can view also.
The Eiffel Tower // So we decided to just go to the Eiffel Tower but not up because we had done it before…. But if you are look for a delicious crepe this is where you will find them. There is a stand across the main road that has Nutella crepes, pastry shop and the most delicious hot chocolates.
Also every-night once the sun goes down every hour on the hour the tower sparkles. There is a park to the side of the tower that was totally empty, this is where we went to watch it. I have to say this was such a magical moment and really a must do.
Notre Dame // I’m a huge hunch back of Norte dame fan, so I was super excited to walk around the area. Across the road from it there is lots of small streets with cafes, ice cream shops and stalls. We walked around the area for awhile just taking in all the scenery.
Disney Land // as you know I’m obsessed with Disney, so of course I went while there. We spent a whole day there 10am-7:30pm. I advice buy your tickets online before going , this makes it quicker to get into the park. Start in the Studios park first and finish in the Disney land park. You should do this because the parades and castle shows are in the Disney land park at the end of the day, so it’s a much nicer way to finish your day there.
Transport // I flew into beauvais airport and from right outside there is a public bus you can take that is roughly 50 mins to the city centre terminal. From there you can get the metro or a taxi to your hotel. Luckily my hotel was less then 3 minutes in a taxi. For getting around on the other days I used the metro. It is so easy to use and so fast. I never didn’t feel safe but I would advise to be-careful of pick pocketers as I have heard a lot of story’s .
That was my Paris trip in a nutshell. If you go soon and try out the hotel or restaurants let me know how you get on and tag me in your Instagram photos :)!
My Paris Look Book will be up next week
